We have an exciting opportunity for a Forensic Administrator to join our team to provide administrative support to the scientific staff in the Forensic Operations team and liaising with our wide range of customers. You will also be involved in receiving and returning a broad range of forensic samples including those from serious crime scenes and mass disasters and an exposure to crime scene photos of a sensitive/disturbing nature.
This is not a typical administrative role; it is busy and varied and would suit an individual who can work well under pressure and to tight deadlines with a flexible and team-orientated approach. The ability to multi-task is essential in order to meet the changing priorities that occur throughout the day. In light of the serious consequences of any error, you will require meticulous attention to detail, good concentration, accurate record-keeping, the ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal forms and a responsible attitude to the work being carried out.

The full-time hours for this position are 37.5 hours compressed into 4 days (3 days working 9.5 hours and one day working 9 hours). The non-working day will rotate backwards on a five week rotating shift pattern.
