Position: Warehouse Operative
Location: Milton Keynes, UK
Job Type: Permanent
Contracted Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri

About The Role
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this role is based in Milton Keynes and the post holder will be required to pick and pack goods in line with orders received, assist with the unloading and loading of vehicles, prepare and assist with the dispatch of goods (including bikes) along with other varied duties.

Duties will include:
  • Assisting in the overall production and dispatch of orders
  • Picking and packing orders
  • Maintaining high levels of Health and Safety standards
  • Achieving the targets and job standards set out by the Warehouse Manager
  • Being adaptable and flexible in your approach to work
  • Repetitive light, medium and heavy lifting
Requirements of the Role
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment, and to manage multiple priorities
  • Has worked towards team targets within a warehouse environment
  • Trained in manual handling
  • Experience of working within a warehouse environment
Desirable
  • Experience of using a handheld scanner
  • Experience of cycling or working within the cycle industry would be advantageous but not essential
  • Holds a current Reach / Counterbalance and LLOP licence
