Salary: AED 8,000 - 10,000 ($2,160 - $2,700)

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock (OOS)
- Process material purchase requisitions to Procurement to replenish inventory
- Process material production requisitions to production to replenish inventory
- Track shipments and address any delays
- Coordinate regular inventory audits
- Ensure purchases do not exceed budget
- Prepare, generate, and file financial inventory reports; review reports monthly with management
- Perform critical inventory checks/ audits to ensure the correct amount of items are in stock
- Review documentation and monitor product codes to search for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records
- Respond to sales inquiries and purchase orders; collect and analyze data to determine appropriate order quantities; process orders for shipment
- Review operations schedules and production requirements to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Oversee demand planning and management processes for new and existing products.
- Develop and execute product demand plans to meet organization goals.
- Provide support in developing seasonal demand forecasts and anticipate customers reactions to the promotions and discounts
- Develop demand forecasts based on demand patterns and business trends.
-Work with customers, sales team and supply chain management to improve forecast accuracy.
-Maintain demand plan to ensure cost effectiveness and to meet customer demands
-Assist in risk assessment and mitigation activities.
-Mentor and train other Planners as needed.
-Update customers and sales team about product availability.
-Maintain inventory levels based on future customer demands.
-Address demand related queries and issues in a timely manner.
-Schedule monthly forecast meetings with all customers as required
-Identify opportunities to meet customer demands during constrained supply.
-Maintain demand planning processes and systems to improve forecasting accuracy
-Identify areas of improvements and recommend action plans.
-Adhere to company rules and regulations.

Desired Candidate Profile
The Inventory Controller must have:
- Strong Knowledge of Inventory Control/Demand Planning with over 5 years of experience working for a Food & Beverage company in the Middle East - Preferably UAE.
- Strong communication skills - High English language proficiency is a MUST.
- A valid UAE drivers license.
- Completed (at minimum) a bachelors degree preferably with a specialization in inventory management.
- Is a self starter who can handle end to end inventory control operations with minimum guidance.
