JOB REQUIREMENTS
- University graduates/Post graduates with a major in accounting are preferred.
- Experience of a minimum of 2 to 3 years in the accounting department.
- Computer literate with advanced Excel knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting rules and regulations.
- Knowledgeable in VAT regulations and process management.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Following up on an assigned portfolio of accounts.
- Ensuring that payment to terms and maximizing collections in order to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
- Following ups including calling clients and sending reminder emails to the clients.
- Registering AR Disputes.
- Creating and executing collection plans in co-ordination with the businesses.
- Maintaining and developing excellent relationships with customers.
- Resolving any queries accordingly in an efficient and effective manner.
- Should perform bank reconciliation.
