Job Description
We are manufacturer of plastic bottle and other multi use products for the market. Currently we are expanding our production and product mix and want to recruit passionate and dynamic professionals for the Production Manager position detailed here under.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Under the general guidance of the President, Plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and control the overall activities of the plant.
• Coordinate all functions within the company to meet agreed objectives, budgets and targets.
• Ensure targets and objectives within each area of the business are met.
• Responsible for maximizing daily production.
• Effectively managing labor requirements/manpower planning, production planning, stock management, plant modifications and developing innovative systems and processes utilizing all available technology.
• Evaluate the overall production activities as required, and take corrective action on time.
• Plan raw material and other inputs required for the production and make sure that they are delivered on time.
• Ensures the maintenance of the factory machineries installed in the plant, within a proper reliability/cost balance, through the planning and execution of the maintenance services, as well as of technical contacts with vendors.
• Ensures that all safety standards comply with the government standards as well as the company’s rules and regulations.
• Develop clear performance objectives for each employee.
• Make sure that rules, regulations & manuals of the company are implemented properly in all levels of the hierarchy in the department.
• Devises a system of proper delegation of authority to permit decisions to be made at the lowest practicable levels to allow the smooth flow of activities.
• Performs different administrative functions such as take disciplinary measures on his subordinates according to the rules and regulations of the company.
• Hand on technical experience in plant management, practical maintenance and execution, technical expertise skill in supporting subordinates.
• Creative and Innovative, Can Do culture, open to new ways of doing things & learn from others.
• Performs other related assignments as might be given by President.

Qualifications and experience

• BSc/Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Management or related Fields 5 years of relevant experience of which 3-5 at supervisory level.
• Experience in Plastic products Manufacturing sectors is highly preferred
• Additional training in areas of performance and quality management systems.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Commercial and Financial acumen.
• Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
• Computer and IT fluency
