About the Role
The Store Keeper would be required to manage consumable and non-consumable resources within the school; catalogue all inventoried stock; electronically capture the checking-out of items to students and staff, ordering, purchasing, selling and/or distributing resources within the school community.
Other responsibilities include, efficiently managing the school store to accurate record keeping and storage, periodic verification of inventory, assisting the school accountant, working in liaison with the purchase officer on the school budget and adhering to the financial system protocols as prescribed by GEMS Finance.
You will be a graduate / post-graduate in Commerce or Accounts. You will also have 2+ years experience in a similar role, ideally in the education setting. You will be committed and organised with excellent organisational and communication skills. You will be able to work collaboratively with colleagues, students and parents.
