Job Description
As we have embarked on an exciting journey to FIFA world cup soccer event in 2022, we are currently looking to recruit Transport & Logistics Manager for Discover Qatar team.
This role will be responsible for developing vehicle and transport logistics plans for DQ across all verticals including but not limited to, marine transport, desert transport, staff transport, Airport transfers, city bus tours, monitor all incoming mails and take appropriate actions. Manage and ensure smooth running of the Transport unit of Discover Qatar (DQ) through effective placement, maintenance and vehicle management logistics procedures as well as robust and well researched vehicle selection for each category of utilization.
Managing full Transportation facility including mechanics rostering, recruitment, parts sourcing, replacement vehicle sourcing and Team transportation. Create Logistics and Transport SOPs for the whole department covering all aspects ranging from health and safety to rostering, time at the wheel specific staff allocation, mechanics and vehicle servicing standards

Qualifications
- Relevant college or University qualification to minimum Bachelor’s level
- 7+ years of Job experience
- 4 years management experience
- Strong knowledge of Transport & logistics environment. Automobile ( coaches & busses)
