What You Own
- Executing all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off
- Conceptualizing original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocks
- Testing and improving the design of the company website and owned digital assets
- Creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas
- Establishing and promoting design guidelines, best practices and standards
- Delivering graphic design, print and other media related tasks
Your Needed Ammo
- A strong grasp of the principles of digital marketing and how design applies to those
- Ability to take full responsibility for projects and deliver them on time to a high standard
- Proven work experience as a web designer
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
- Deep understanding of the best practices related to website optimization, browser compatibility, responsive design, and the tradeoffs required to deliver an outstanding web experience
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
- Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript
- Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
- Good understanding of search engine optimization principles
- Experience/knowledge of data driven design processes
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
- Experience with WordPress and content management systems
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies
