For the Etihad Rail project that means delivering a new 650km freight rail network across the United Arab Emirates from the Saudi Arabian border to the Indian Ocean, connecting major industrial ports and economic hubs across the way and redefine logistics and transport in the region, providing a modern, safe, efficient and sustainable network. This is a transformational project for the United Arab Emirates and the wider gulf region, providing a transportation backbone for freight and passengers as part of the UAE’s strategic growth plan.

Make a difference, be part of the administrative function on the UAE freight and passenger railway network. The railway will redefine logistics and transport in the region, providing a modern, safe, efficient and sustainable network which will connect the seven emirates of the UAE to its neighbouring GCC countries.
As a Technical Assistant, you will be providing administrative support to the Systems Assurance team through the various phases of the project. You will be liaising with the contractors and project controls team to ensure the team reporting is correct and that the appropriate data is provided for the weekly dashboards, with a focus on quality and deadlines.
You will be responsible for supporting the systems assurance team lead reviewer, to ensure lead review tasks are addressed whilst supporting with tasks such as producing the systems assurance portion of the monthly reports, updating the systems assurance tracker relating to Hazard Review, to ensure data is up to date so that you can provide progress graphs to Etihad Rail. You will have autonomy on collating, filing, and producing letters that are to and from the Contractor, managing and revising the systems assurance tracker. In conjunction with this you will oversee the deferred comments tracker and be responsible for reporting the deferred comments tracker status to PMC/ER as appropriate. You will be liaising with the systems assurance team members to ensure deferred comments are addressed in later stages.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
As an effective candidate you will have a thorough knowledge in Excel and be able to perform VLOOKUP’s, transfer information between various excel reports and formulas, DMS (Document Management System), with excellent communication and relationship-building skills. You must be proficient in MS Office.
