Technical Sales Administrator
Salary: £28,000 - £32, 000 per annum plus benefits.
Location: Twickenham , Middlesex

We are currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Administrator on behalf of one of our clients, a global manufacturer of communication and electronics products. Our client is looking for someone to join the existing team to provide sales order processing and administrative support.

Person Specification: -
  • Sales Administration and sales order processing skills are essential.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail is required
  • Must be numerate
  • Possess good working knowledge of Microsoft office 365 and:
  • Adobe standard or adobe acrobat DC (editable version)
  • Import/Export (i.e. Basic Understanding of INCOTERMS is required)
  • SAGE X3. Sage Sage SEI desirable but not essential as training will be provided
  • Web portals for Po/ invoicing
  • eCommerce
  • Skype/Zoom and MS Teams desirable
  • Basic programming skill (i.e. Python/Excel VBA) advantageous
Key Responsibilities: -
  • To process orders and liaise with customers, distributors and factories within the sales division, to ensure that customer queries and orders are dealt with promptly, accurately and effectively. To endeavour to meet and exceed the expectations of customers, raise satisfaction levels and secure future sales
  • Receive & process sales orders and acknowledgements. Following orders until goods are delivered/invoiced - delivery confirmations/shipment handling/invoicing.
  • Pre-sales support - Liaise and negotiate with customers, distributors and factories about orders, sales, rescheduling of shipments & pricing.
  • Sales support role (such as prepare quotation, confirm delivery, etc.)
  • Checking/ updating forecast figures and hub quantities for relevant accounts.
  • Supporting stock ordering/control.
  • Deal with Commissions for given products.
  • Issuing official quotations.
  • Assisting with the management of sales accounts as requested by the Assistant /Divisional Manager.
  • Assisting with other ad hoc sales duties as and when the sales managers and sales team require, including but not limited to holiday cover for the division.
  • Import/export administration
  • Running sales reports
  • Assisting with distribution - post, etc.
  • Assisting Service administration function.
