About the Job
The Logistics Coordinator will coordinate and facilitate the logistics operations of Trelleborg, handling all shipping operations for our project-based contracts to ensure the shipments arrive safely on time and within budget.
This is a multitasking position responsible for a wide variety of activities, including:
- Creation of Shipping documents such as Bill of Entry, Invoice & Packing List etc.
- Negotiation and booking with Shipping Agents / Freight Forwarders.
- Coordinating with Shipping Agents/Freight Forwarders.
- Coordination with Material suppliers internal and external.
- Plan and supervise shipments according to customer requirements.
- Prepare reports for upper management and finance team on monthly basis
- Handle and supervise packing and loading activities.
- Support Sales team with Shipping estimates and quotes.
- Calculate and provide container quantities requirements for each project
- Support Project Manager with documentation submission as required
- Support Procurement officer with documentation preparation as required

About the Ideal Candidate
- 4 – 7 years’ logistics experience, preferably with global or regional exposure; diploma, degree, or equivalent. Validated experience as a logistics coordinator.
- Experience in customer service.
- Knowledge of Finance, shipping import/export laws.
- Ability to supervise multiple process’ and project’s independently.
- Excellent communication skills across (both written and verbal) all business levels (internal & external); good organization, time-management, and forward planning.
- A fast learner who is willing to get things done, try new things, tackle problems, and keep up to date with the latest logistics trends.
- Proficient (spoken and written) in English.
- Computer proficiency with excellent Microsoft Office skills.
- Display confidence, energy, and creativity.
- Phenomenal teammate able to work collaboratively and optimally as a team member.
- Resourcefulness in solving problems.
