Under the overall supervision and general guidance of the Green and Sustainable Hub, the Green Originator will:- Identify green & sustainable products opportunities, co-originate, structure, syndicate “green and sustainable” financing products (bonds, loans, securitisation,etc.) in partnership with Green Captains and coverage in the region;
- Take part in pitching and project execution for green structuring and advisory Business development;
- Ensure CSR strategic dialogue & Advisory with clients & prospects;
- Ensure fluid communication of investors’ expectations and needs throughout the organization;
- Work with global and regional green teams to drive the development and animate the green captain network to educate and transfer skills internally and provide timely market intelligence;
- Contribute to the Global Green and Sustainable Hub activities.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand client needs and requirements, build and maintain productive relationships and influence decision making;
- Adept at problem solving, including bringing innovative ideas into client discussions and proposition development;
- Strong proposal writing and project management skills; taking ownership of activities to drive them forward to successful outcomes;
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment where collaboration across other business units is essential.
Qualifications and experience:
- Degree educated (or equivalent), in a numerate discipline, e.g. economics, finance, statistics, engineering or a relevant field;
- 5 or more years of experience, ideally in a financial institution;
- Considerable experience in the financial sector (banking, asset management, insurance, related professional services);
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of financial services and products;
- Ability to understand and present complex products, with experience in delivering presentations;
- Proficiency in English, French and Arabic is an advantage.
