Position Summary
A pet owners most trusted advisor is often their veterinarian. As a Veterinary Advisor for our Specialist Channel, you are the face behind our brand as these providers consider Pro Plan Veterinary Diets®. Proper nutrition is key to optimal dog and cat health. It is an idea carried throughout our entire line of veterinary pet food specialized nutrition that makes a difference. Pro Plan Veterinary Diets® include products focused on dietary management of dogs and cats with specific health problems. This role will provide you an incredible portfolio of formulas to represent, each of them backed by scientific research and Purina’s unparalleled pet expertise. Globally, Nestlé has 27 research, development and technology centres along with over 500 scientists dedicated to ensuring top quality and creating innovative approaches to make the lives of dogs and cats better.
A day in the life of...
As you are based in the MENA Head Office in Dubai, you get to the office and start prospecting meetings in countries such as Morocco, UAE or Lebanon to strengthen the relationship with Veterinarians and Key Opinion Leaders
In this newly created role Рin the fasted growing Business Unit at Nestl̩ MENA, continuous growth is your number one priority
As the number one contact for scientific queries from the industry you represent the category expertise externally in the region in key events
Tomorrow you have a meeting with distributors across the region to build capabilities of our partners in the commercial salesforce domain to drive faster in-field execution and you need to ensure you have the materials together
You look at how competitors are performing and ensure you’re sharing this intel with your team at market and Zone level
In between meetings and answering technical queries from field and Consumer Engaging Centers, you may start looking at planning for an event to further increase the visibility of Pro Plan Veterinary Diets® in the pet nutrition market
Whether it’s an industry led event, or one that Nestlé Purina is driving, you’ll get the chance to lead projects and education programs in field for Veterinarians, Key Opinion Leaders, and Field Sales Force to strengthen the company’s position in the market as the world's most trusted company in enriching the lives of pets and the people that love them

- Veterinary Medicine degree is preferable and Veterinary Clinic experience is highly desirable
