Merchandiser Job Description

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with factories on sample development stage.
- Organize and participate in collection meetings.
- Collect information from 3rd party sourcing vendors to understand latest market trends.
- Manage the ordering process with the team, to ensure proper preparation of orders and related documents, to ensure smooth request-to-shipment execution.
- Work with Quality, Supply Chain teams to resolve any quality and shipment issues.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Experience with Home Textile products is preferred.Good communication and presentation skills.
- Customer-oriented with good negotiation skills.
- Enjoys challenges, positive and able to work under pressure.
- Independent and able to take initiative.
- Ability to identify critical issues and evaluate situation quickly and accurately
- Familiar with European safety regulations and markets is a plus.
- Fluent in oral & written English.
- Knowledge in French is a plus.
