Job Description
Job purpose:
Manage an effective document and records control system aligned to nuclear industry best practices; Oversee the processing and storage of all quality documents and records to ensure safe plant operation and program-wide compliance with regulatory and security requirements.Key Activities, Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Document Systems & Storage
- Lead the development and implementation of a SAP based, electronic documentation system and document approval process to expedite document reviews and align with nuclear industry best practices.
- Manage a Nawah procedure change process based upon nuclear industry best practices to ensure documents are updated as required.
- Provide strategic and day-to-day direction for the document control and records program to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage program documentation (policies, procedures, processes etc.) and ensure training for program participants to enhance organizational effectiveness.
Standards and Procedures
- Develop and maintain standards, manuals, and procedures relating to the document control and records management function to ensure all relevant documentation is in place for user reference.
- Document Coordination and Oversight
- Oversee the processing and storage of all incoming and outgoing quality documents and records to ensure documentation is stored securely and in the proper location to align with Nawah’s objectives and quality requirements.
- Direct routine performance and compliance assessments of the document control/records management system to ensure the system meets compliance requirements.
Operational Planning
- Provide input into the development of the Division’s systems, processes and procedures, as well develop and implement the Department’s systems and processes, identifying potential areas of improvement to ensure efficient, effective, safe and risk-free operations as well as compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor, control and report Operational and financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to the Department, to track performance and recommend corrective or mitigating actions.
- Ensure that all relative reports are prepared timely and accurately, and meet the Department’s requirements and standards.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Provide periodic reports to Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC)/ Nawah and as appropriate, Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO)/ Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP) to keep them updated on project status.
- Coordinate with other nuclear organizations and assign tasks as necessary for creation of documents needed that are not supplied by KEPCO/ KHNP to ensure the organization has all the documents necessary to function.
Health and Safety and Security
- Ensure compliance to all relevant health, safety and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the Division/Department/Section by the delivery of the Health and Safety Management Program to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality services and a responsible environmental attitude.
- Follow all relevant Security policies, processes, procedures and instructions to ensure security compliance in all aspects of work, by applying them on self, others and Corporate assets.
- Ensure compliance with corporate requirements for adherence to policies, procedures and instructions related to Crisis Management and Business Continuity in order to continue mission critical activities.

Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Information Science.
- 10 years relevant experience, out of which: - 2 years in a Managerial role.
