About the Role:
As Vegan Chef, you are responsible for the whole F&B operation, workshops and wellness talks (guests / employee), take care of the daily food preparation and duties assigned to meet the set standard and qualities.Reporting to the General Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Work according to the menu specifications.
- Knowledge about Nutrition and health, wellbeing.
- Knowledgeable with natural/plant based raw foods, vegan cuisine.
- Making natural/plant based salad or juices.
- Confident & able to speak with guest/people during daily talk workshop i.e how to prepare almond milk etc.
- Knowledge with vegan kitchen equipment’s like dehydrators, wheatgrass juicers etc.
- Knowledge in preparation of kombucha, kefir, etc.
- Keep work area at all times in hygienic conditions according to the rules set by the hotel
- Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality.
Requirements:
- You should have a professional kitchen apprenticeship or chefs training course and previous experiences in nutrition, plant based raw, vegan and juicing.
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
