The University of Law (ULaw) is one of the world's largest law schools. With an impressive history dating back to 1876, we employ over 900 staff and have over 14,000 students studying on our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, along with an alumni network in excess of 100,000. In 2016, we opened our leading Business School, further enhancing our reputation as a full service legal, business and educational training specialist, operating from fourteen campuses throughout the UK, Berlin and Hong Kong.

We currently have the following vacancy within our Nottingham Campus Operations.

Senior Programmes and Assessments Officer – 8 Month Fixed Term Contract

You will be a key member of staff to support our Nottingham Campus in providing first class administration to our students and staff across a number of key student provisions.

You will be managing our course administration activities which range from induction and enrolment, through attendance management. You will also be responsible for maintaining a fully operational assessment system for the programmes offered at the Nottingham Campus. You will have excellent organisational skills and have a proved track record of meeting simultaneous deadlines.

This student facing role will also provide support during Open Days and for Campus Visits from potential students along with any external booking may be happening on Campus. We are looking for an enthusiastic and client focused individual who is experienced in dealing with enquiries from clients, staff and visitors and able to provide them with an accurate and professional response.

The ideal applicant will have excellent interpersonal skills developed from experience of working in a customer focussed environment and will have a pro-active and flexible approach to work and a willingness to help others. You will be IT literate, have exceptional eye for detail and excellent data entry skills.

The role is five days Monday to Friday. Although rare there is a requirement to cover occasional weekends, for which time off in lieu will be given.
