DFMC also has a license to manufacture “Serta” branded Mattresses products under license from Serta, U.S.A. DFMC is the market leader with majority market share in the premium segment of the mattress industry with the state of the art manufacturing facility at Dubai Investment Park 1, Dubai. DFMC is on an expansion path and hence requires Chief Accountant to handle this special assignment.Job Description:
Responsible for day to day finance and accounts operations. Perform full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts. Perform project cost forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring and controls. Responsible for timely monthly consolidated financial statements, payments, cash-flow management reporting.• Perform financial analysis and reporting to management as needed.
• Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries.
• Coordinate with finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines.
• Evaluate computerized accounting systems and provide recommendations to IT team for performance improvements.
• Generate financial reports and statements to Managers for review.
• Analyze financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions.
• Monitor expenditures, analyze revenues and determine budget variances and report the same to management.
• Respond to accounting inquiries from management in a timely fashion.
• Provide guidance to other Accountants when needed.
• Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts.
• Monitor and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations.
• Review and recommend changes to existing accounting procedures.
• Ensure timely completion of statutory Audit.
• Ensure timely filing or VAT returns and handle VAT audit.
