- Ensure that SAP vs BPC data entry and reporting processes are aligned with Group Reporting.
- To ensure the Retail division is reporting accurately and the consolidated reports provided the necessary insights into the business results for higher management.
- Ensure Group timelines are adhered to for monthly / quarterly / yearly reporting purposes.
Other Key Responsibilities:
- Perform month end aggregation processes for the division.
- Perform accurate consolidation of accounting data required to support statutory reporting and preparing and submitting consolidated reporting (monthly reports and actual Vs budget).
- Ensure all financial transaction and consolidation transactions are complying with the group financial policies.
- Report Financial data back to the Divisional brands for validation.
- Profit and loss (P&L) analysis.
- Balance sheet accounts reviews and reconciliations.
- General Ledger (GL) and Cost Center (CC) master data management.
- Responsible to ensure system processes and reporting are completed and reconciled on time.
- Ensuring all balance sheets are clean and tidy with good understanding of the entries in them.
- Implement Anaplan capabilities with the support of the IT team and working with the Divisional SAP Accountants.
- Understanding FICO modules to the extent that you can suggest process improvements.
- Support Finance Manager on adhoc requests Other Key Responsibilities.
- To liaise with relevant managers and stakeholders to ensure full collaboration and understanding on critical topics.
- Contribute to the improvement of the solutions and business processes.
- Maintains and upgrades professional knowledge, management skills and domain expertise by using continuous learning & development tools.
