JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for an enthusiastic marketing associate to join our Business Development & Digital Marketing department. In this role, you will provide and execute creative ideas to drive traffic and sales for an Ecommerce brand selling home furnishings and window treatments (curtains, blinds, etc). As a junior associate, you will collaborate with our marketing team in all stages of marketing campaigns. This profile will help you acquire marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various digital marketing strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• You will have administrative duties in developing and implementing marketing strategies and tactics• Act as liaison between marketing department and SEO agencies, ensuring SEO initiatives run smoothly
• Liaise with writers to keep website & blog content fresh and updated
• Manage and develop content for social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram & Pinterest, to drive customer engagement and website traffic
• Support ongoing email marketing campaigns on Mailchimp support customer database building
• Liaise with site designers and developers to keep site fresh, updated and glitch-free
• Ensure all inbound client queries via website chat channel, email or social channels are addressed in a timely and courteous manner
• Perform market analysis and research on competition
• Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
