Job Description
· Must have more than 10 years’ experience in maintenance work in the Petrochemical,Petroleum Refining or Power Generation industry, out of which 5 years shall be in a similar role.
· Educational qualifications: Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
· Must be capable of interpreting engineering drawings and have knowledge of industrial safety;
· Can read, write and speak English language.(IELTS 5 Equivalent)
· Capable of supervising and leading the team of technicians & helpers. Performing any administrative work, such as but not limited to obtaining and renewing permit to work etc.,
submitting daily time sheets, input required data for the Company computerized engineering administration systems;
· Able to exert full disciplinary and trade control over the Contractor workforce;
· Assisting technicians for troubleshooting.
· Capable of organising the Works to be carried out and co-coordinating with Maintenance contractors and QSGTL Area Technicians and Operations on all aspects of Works.
· Must have a valid Qatari Driving licence and defensive driving training, so as to be able to utilise CTF.
