QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Education:
- High School Diploma / Technical certificate in Discipline minimum 10 years Oil & Gas, Petrochemical/ refining industry experience or
- Bachelors of Science in any Engineering field or equivalent and 5-10 years Oil & Gas, Petrochemical/ refining industry
Industry Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in HSE/Terminal operation with a proven track record in the delivery of business objectives
- Experience in Export and Marine O&G operations

- Execute safe work processes and comply with relevant health, safety (occupational & process) and environmental excellence procedures and controls within area of responsibility to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and a responsible environmental attitude

- Thorough understanding and application of O&G Terminal safety guidelines and procedures and bridging with maritime area (IMO, OCIMF, MTMSA….)
- Ability to set and assist in the implementation of operational objectives, drive performance and foster a performance culture
- Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills and strong influencing skills
- Advanced understanding of process control, production systems and offshore terminal operations
- Ability to support work with large teams in a complex and multicultural environment
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Computer literate

ACTIVITIES
- Coach and support STS’s for ensuring compliance with COMPANY HSE standards along with contractor’s crew
- Execute daily activities as directed by the Discipline Supervisor
- Contributing to the development and review of all risk assessments to ensure that hazards have been identified, adequate mitigations are in place and risk has been reduced to ALARP
- Assist the Discipline Supervisor in critical situations
- Supervise routine activities to ensure they are undertaken safely and in accordance with COMPANY company procedures / guidelines
- Provide input into planning meetings as instructed by the Discipline Supervisor
- Participate on the Control of Work program and assist for PTW preparation as instructed by STS
- If requested by the Discipline Supervisor, coordinate logistics, maintenance of equipment to ensure normal operation
- Provide daily reports to Supervisor on health, safety and environmental issues related to area of work; take corrective action wherever necessary
- Participate in COMPANY’s Training Matrix and help create a learning environment
- Proactively take responsibility for self-progression by keeping abreast with latest developments, knowledge, and innovations
- Represent COMPANY appropriately and in accordance with code of ethics when interfacing with internal and external stakeholders
- Promote COMPANY core values by being a safety role model, showing trust, respect and commitment, fostering collaboration across the organization

- Ensure application and organized drills associated to Terminal Incident Response Plans and Oil Spill Management
