QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Must have experience in Oilfield Related Services, well bore cleaning out tools, down hole/drilling tools and their applications
- Good knowledge in written and oral English
- Degree level / qualification preferred
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in similar role
- Must become fully conversant in the use of IT software and IT systems used within this area of responsibility
- Successfully demonstrate physical ability to perform essential job functions
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in onshore/offshore business and knowledge of technical onshore/offshore equipment
- Proficient with MS Office applications
- Good interpersonal/communication skills
- The position requires a high degree of independence, structure, and implementation capacity
DUTIES/TASKS
Sales
- Generate and qualify client leads
- Contribute and follow sales plans, account strategies, new market development plans,
- sales policies, etc.
- Monitor and ensure continuing sales growth and profitability
- Develop and maintain long term customer relations
- Make sales calls to new and existing clients
- Present company products and services to current and potential clients
- Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships, follow up on sales activity
- Carry out market research and surveys
- Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development
Operations
- Coordinate with the relevant departments and workshop
- Monitor and ensure safe and efficient operations
- Monitor and coordinate maintenance requirements according to company standards ensuring operations is run smoothly
- Assist in developing safety rules and regulations
- Take charge of employees in case of emergency and contact emergency team as soon as possible
- Communicate and plan with clients on upcoming operations
- Coordinate and organize equipment for onshore/offshore use
- Coordinate workshop activities as required
- Ensure high quality equipment and service is provided to customers
- Ensure the present procedures and system are used and followed wholly
- Coordinate and organize equipment in the workshop including third party equipment
- Ensure that correct equipment is delivered on time to the correct location, in coordination with the operations team
- Conduct pre and post job briefs with crew
- Ensure adequate manpower/equipment is available for ongoing operations
- Have daily and weekly meetings with the workshop personnel
- Implement actions to ensure high quality in all services provided
- Participate in client meetings
