Job Description:
- Provide, robust, timely and accurate accounting and reporting data to the Finance Manager
- Update Balance Sheet Breakdown every month to ensure that they’re matching against the Balance Sheet in QB
- Update monthly fixed assets depreciation and posting to QB with the right cost allocations for each program
- Backup QuickBooks file for the Finance Manager for further checks before preparing monthly financial reports
- Provide accounting and other reports to the Finance Manager when required
- Complete month end reconciliations in line with accounting policy
- Perform bank transactions such as cash/ deposit/withdrawals and collect bank statement at every month end
- Check cash advance and materials purchase request from programs then submit to Finance Manager for verifying
- Calculating and checking invoices to make sure payments amounts and records are correct.
Requirements:
- Degree level qualification in Accounting and Finance
- Good communication skills, written and oral in English
- Good mathematics skills and excel spreadsheet
