Tasks
In this role, your responsibilities and duties may include:
- Bin and issue materials, tools & equipment as per internal process
- Ensures correct kitting, marking, color coding and labeling of materials, tools & equipment that require binning/issuing
- Effectively manages in-house Inventory by timely update of inventory management system
- Organize material & tooling store as per 5S concept
- Perform scheduled physical stock check and updates the Inventory Management system
- Report any discrepancy and visible defects found on any materials, tools & equipment
- Monitor shelf life controlled materials & ensures non complaint materials are disposed
- Ensure readiness of Stores for all scheduled/unscheduled audits
- Supports in maintaining departmental KPI’s for periodic performance review
- *Performs all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors
Technical Store Keeper
As a Technical Store keeper, you will be responsible for effective operations management of LTME Material & Tooling stores. You will ensure Material/Tool binning, issuance, Storage & control activities are carried out efficiently whilst adhering to the Internal standard operating procedure.
Requirements
The ideal Technical Store Keeper should meet the following requirements:
- University degree with aviation background required
- Minimum 1.5 years of work experience in Technical Material and Tooling Stores in Aviation MRO Airline domain required
- Knowledge of Dangerous goods regulations preferred, certification would be an advantage
- Enthusiastic, independent, self-motivated and pro-active in all aspects of work
- Process orientated with high regards for transaction discipline
- Should be available for on call duties out of working hours and be able to work under pressure
- Excellent command of English in written and spoken, Arabic or German would be an advantage
- Proficient knowledge of MS-Office Products
- Experience working with Inventory management system(IT) required
