Job Description:
Landscape Inspector
Abu Dhabi, UAE
Responsibilities:
Conducts inspections to determine if work has been done in accordance with contract specifications and may include any of the following:
- Construction of footpaths, driveways, cycling tracks, parks
- Installation of electrical equipment related to traffic signals, ramp metering and street lighting
- Irrigation and planting, roadway and overhead sign removal and installation.
- Plantation, and nursing
- Performs difficult and complex inspection tasks, including assessing adherence to quality control procedures.
- Inspects various facets of work on the jobsite related to hardscape, softscape, and plantation. Documents nonconformance and participates in determining appropriate resolution
- Inspection activities are usually concentrated in one or more of the following areas: soils, concrete, asphalt, utilities, architectural, steel, mechanical, or electrical
Qualifications:
- Diploma in an agricultural discipline or construction-related field equivalent work experience, is required
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in construction supervision of landscape projects such as parks, public realm, promenade
- Significant experience in inspecting soft landscaping works
- Strong analytic capabilities and the ability to work independently
- Ability to communicate logically and clearly with management and staff
- Relevant work experience in UAE is preferred
- Commitment to quality and safe work practices
- Valid UAE Driving License is a plus
