Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Automating and creating processes around common tasks, and distribute the responsibilities once developed
- Improving threat detection capabilities by researching innovative approaches, developing them using the team s toolkit, and ensuring the team can utilize them effectively
- Acting as a catalyst for the team s learning, development, and knowledge sharing
- Evaluate new technology, and act as a custodian, while driving expert use of existing technology
- Write new, and maintain existing technical documentation
- Support the team with client facing delivery, including low level design review, incident response and threat hunting delivery, kickoff meetings, final presentations, etc.
Job Requirements and Qualifications :
- 8-10 years+ experience as a security consultant
- 6 years+ experience as a systems administrator and developer
- 5 years+ team management experience
- Strong presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex technical findings to a C-suite audience.
- Extensive experience architecting and developing solutions to complex technical problems
- Expert understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP fundamentals, or expert understanding of operating systems
- Knowledge of network-based services and client/server applications
- Knowledge of enterprise systems and infrastructure
- Excellent organizational skills and an ability to prioritize.
