Established over 30 years ago, Tops Day Nurseries and Aspire Training Team operate across the South Coast.

We are looking for an enthusiastic marketing assistant to work alongside the Sales & Marketing team on the implementation of marketing strategies for Aspire Training Team and support marketing efforts for Tops Day Nurseries campaigns.

The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise in an environment with frequent interruptions. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential along with the ability to work without supervision. This role will cover a variety of remits covering online advertising, social media, photography & videography, networking, web development, public relations and more, with support from our awesome marketing department.

Examples of duties & responsibilities:
  • Assist with planning, developing and implementing new campaigns to support the company’s objectives
  • Creating content and artwork for online and print
  • Assist with media relations, including writing and proofing media releases, identifying new media opportunities and tracking media coverage
  • Maintain a fantastic level of customer relations to both business and employers
  • Undertake competitor analysis when required
  • Assist with organising events across the South
  • Attend networking & careers events – Be available to work out of hours to attend events
  • Organisation of video or photographs needed
  • Support the Sales team in ad hoc specific projects
  • To support online presence across the group to include producing, maintain and updating website content, producing and uploading blogs, and monitoring/updating third party websites
  • Support with recording website stats & Analytics
  • Create weekly social media schedules for multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter
  • Supporting management of the Aspire YouTube channel, creating content when needed
  • Assist to coordinate our Social Media Ambassadors, quality checking posts
  • Implement social media campaigns both paid and unpaid for Aspire Training Team

Essential skills & Experience:
  • Excellent communication
  • Social media
  • Full driving licence and access to own car with business use
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and communication programmes
  • A strong knowledge of social media platforms, software and industry trends.
  • Some understanding of HTML, CSS and web content authoring.
