JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Prior accounting experience of 1 to 2 years.
- Extensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures.
- Expertise in reporting and recording financial data.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks and many others.
- Should be accurate and detail-oriented.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handling all accounting operations following accounting principles and procedures.
- Managing petty cash and cash voucher.
- Obtaining revenue by verifying transaction information.
- Computing charges and refunds.
- Preparing and mailing invoices.
- Identifying delinquent accounts and insufficient payments.
- Maintaining accounting ledgers by posting account transactions.
- Verifying accounts by reconciling statements and transactions.
- Resolving account discrepancies by investigating documentation.
- Issuing stop-payments, payments or adjustments.
