We’re currently looking for a Facilities Manager to join our team in Franklin, TN.
This role will be responsible for non-manufacturing facilities and related projects for Nissan NNA HQ in Franklin, TN. Duties include Management of daily operations, budget/strategic planning, workplace strategy, project management, and implementation & start-up of facilities/operations. Oversight of related purchases, construction, facility fixed-assets, maintenance, environmental compliance, utilities infrastructure/usage. Evaluation of direct staff, if applicable, and contractors work performance. Contributes to building brand value and achieving enduring profitable growth.
Job Functions include, but are not limited to:
- Manage facilities operations for NNA HQ and associated local facilities (non-manufacturing, Class A office space). Ensure proper upkeep and management of facilities, with adherence to maintenance programs, Nissan policies & office layout standards, capital investment plans, government regulations, building codes and Nissan Risk Management requirements.
- Manage regional/corporate annual expense/capex budgets for facilities, workplace strategy program, construction and maintenance projects, utilities and environmental programs.
- Manage/support non-manufacturing environmental programs and policies including hazardous materials, environmental permitting (as applicable) and ISO 14001 (as applicable).
- Management Accountabilities - Has subordinate senior level individual contributors or contractors. Manages employees by establishing annual performance goals, allocating resources, assessing annual performance, and determining individual merit, incentive and/or promotional increases. Supervises and provides leadership, coaching, guidance, training, career counseling and staff development, interviews and selects employees; recommends merit increases, transfers and promotions; counsels and disciplines employees as necessary; recommends termination when appropriate; and monitors attendance of subordinates.
- As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative.
- Facilities & Operations Management experience in Class A office space
- 5-7 years progressive professional experience in related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline required, Master’s Degree preferred.
- Computer Skills: Thorough computer knowledge with word documents, spreadsheet development, chart or trend analysis, power point presentation, Computerized Maintenance Management System, other PC applications.
