Infrastructure Analyst Job at Citi in Dubai
The Infrastructure Analyst is responsible for assisting with IT Risk & Control job functions including technical guidance, and security in coordination with the Technology Infrastructure team. The overall objective is to use infrastructure technology knowledge and identified policies to process data, resolve IT Risk and Control issues and execute administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Risk Business partner for local technology domain and working with selected business areas/teams, to include Cybersecurity, InfoSec and Operational resilience.
- Planning risk management activities to support the further development and embedding of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
- Supporting Risk Projects, especially with regards to implementation of Risk Management Tools & Technology.
- For any new initiatives/projects across the franchise, ensure that all potential risks are appropriately mitigated.
- Ongoing identification, capture, assessment, mitigation, monitoring and reporting of operational risk. This may be managed through running workings or risk assessments.
- Developing, planning and delivering Risk training and communication programs.
- Scheduling and preparing materials for ongoing Risk Champion forums.
- Leading the process of coordinating and producing the firm wide annual coordinated assurance plan covering the activity across the 2nd and 3rd lines of defense.
- Analyzing risk data and extracting trends and themes.
- Performing external risk monitoring to identify adverse trends that may impact the franchise (direct / indirect)
- Preparing regular and ad-hoc presentations for the business around Risk&Control exercise and reviews
- Maintain and where necessary update Risk Policies/processes to maintain an up to date Risk perimeter that it is in line with best practice.
- Supporting the implementation and management of the internal control framework that promotes a strong self-assessment culture.
- Identifying and resolving control issues and themes including managing the resolution of audit and other BU control issues.
- Act as an escalation point and point of contact for the Business aligned control teams.
- Responsible for the management of the annual risk assessment process for the operation.
Qualifications:
- Previous relevant experience preferred
- Ability to develop projects required for design of metrics, analytical tools, benchmarking activities and best practices
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Effective analytic/diagnostic skills
- Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams, and work under pressure or to a deadline
- Demonstrated knowledge of operational process changes and improvement
- Strong knowledge of Operational Risk & Controls and/or audit in a highly regulated business environment,
- Practical knowledge of internal controls, including the development and maintenance of appropriate framework,
- Experience of working in a Financial Services/AML and Sanctions policies team,
- Strong Stakeholder management experience and the ability to influence others positively,
- Be a motivated, high-performing individual with proven experience of working at one with other colleagues, to achieve and often beat their objectives and assist others in doing so.
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
