UOWD is currently seeking applications to fill the position of Instructor - Civil Engineering (Permanent Full Time) with the Faculty of Engineering & Information Sciences. Ideally, this position is suitable for applicants who are looking to gain experience to develop their scholarly career.
An Instructor is responsible for the management and operation of the Civil Engineering laboratories and tutorials. The position holder is expected to conduct labs in the area of structural mechanics, soil mechanics, geo-technic, hydraulics and surveying.

Essential & Desirable Criteria
Essential Criteria:
To qualify for this position you must have:
- Minimum qualification includes MSc degree in Civil Engineering or in a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Teaching experience in Civil Engineering labs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, faculty and staff.
- Fluency in English language (both spoken and written)
- A commitment to Values of Passion, Courage, Integrity, Excellence, Collaboration and Innovation.
Experience and knowledge in CAD tools.
Prior experience of teaching at an Australian education environment
Benefits
Annual Salary ranges between AED 144,000 - AED 156,000.
