We are currently looking for a Regional General Manager MENA (m/f/d), who will be based in Dubai.

Reporting to the Regional Director of Sales for MENA, he/she will manage 6 direct reports and a growing team of currently 17 associates. The successful candidate will lead his/her team and entity in a market where Radiometer enjoys a very good brand reputation. Radiometer will provide you with a range of products and services that allow you to offer a complete solution to customers. You will also take over long-term and close customer relationships in a market that looks for high quality product.
For the MENA Markets, you have the responsibility but also the freedom to adapt global strategies to the local market. With direct access to your experienced team, you can quickly set up and implement tactics. Development of your team starts from a high level, the positive team atmosphere is a plus. You are encouraged to spend part of your time with customers, working hands-on in addition to your management activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and further develop experienced team of employees (sales, service, marketing, applications)
  • Secure additional market share and grow sales by focusing on IT solutions and services while ensuring profitability of the region
  • Responsible for overall management of all accounts and product groups: blood gas, immunoassay, transcutaneous, sampler, POC-IT
  • Communicate with individual accounts about opportunities and/or programs
  • Provide strategic and technical planning to successfully run the territory; assure adequate sales, monitor promotions and provide reporting
  • Recruit, retain and develop results driven sales force – top grade when necessary
  • Coordinate and conduct sales presentations and negotiations
  • Ensure sales goals/forecasting/budget objectives are met through implementation of performance objectives programs, policies and key messages
  • Coach sales reps in and make field sales calls with reps to ensure increase in market share product sales
  • Share VOC with central product and service development
  • Responsible for the adherence to Danaher Business Systems (DBS) in the organisation.
Requirements for this position
  • Degree in Business/Marketing or preferably a scientific/medical background, combined with strong commercial experience. Masters preferred;
  • 8+ yrs. sales, marketing, training, corporate accounts and sales/general management experience in medical capital equipment;
  • At least 4 years of people management experience: demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and coach team to success;
  • Proven experience in developing innovative sales strategies and leading both direct sales force and channel routes to market;
  • Demonstrated strong strategic and analytical skills as well as solid eye for business, experience in P&L management and growth achievements;
  • Proficient in Arabic and English is a must;
  • Willing to travel 65% of the time.
