Job Summary
The IT Executive is responsible for managing the team that provides service, support, advice, and maintenance on all hospitality systems.
Education & Experience
- At least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field; or a 2-year college degree and 2 or more years of related experience; or a 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience.
- Requires advanced knowledge of specialized or technical field.
- Troubleshoot System and Hardware
- Managed Information Security
- Install and Configure Network
- Manage Data Bases
- Follow all company policies and procedures; protect company assets. Address guests' service needs.
- Responsible for providing comprehensive IT support and technical functions.
- Monitors, operates, coordinates, assists and trains others in the operation.
- Provide end-user support. Manage user accounts, including set up, removal, and resetting passwords.
- Responsible to adhere with all information security policies and hotel procedures
- Maintain inventory of all technology devices
- Supporting the roll-out of new applications.
- Prepare project status reports
Fundamental Requirements
- Locally and immediately available
- Working knowledge of relevant operating systems, software, network installation and configuration
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Hospitality background will be a strong advantage
- Arabic Language will be a benefit
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Can work under pressure
- Good organization, time management and prioritization
- Efficient troubleshooting abilities
- Effective communication skills, including speaking, writing and active listening
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Information Technology
- CCNA, MSCA, and CompTIA A+ is a plus while knowledge of Opera, Micros, FMC and SUN System is an asset
