We place bespoke facultative reinsurance solutions for our diverse client base, ranging from large and small overseas insurance companies and local Dubai insurers. We are an integral part of the end to end client servicing function, beginning with the discussions with our clients to establish their reinsurance requirements, through to the completion of the reinsurance product. This can take the form of conference calls with the client, as well as the reinsurance market, to tailor a structured reinsurance programme to meet our clients’ needs.
We are an agile working team and utilize the skills we have to fulfill the clients’ requirements.
The role encompasses regular client and underwriter contact, via all available communication methods.

The Role
As Account Executive in our office in Dubai you will …
- Work alongside Brokers and Client Relationship Managers to determine appropriate solutions, structure, price and placement strategies that meet the clients’ needs and deliver profitable business for a range of clients.
- Assist with growing existing portfolio by identifying new from existing opportunities.
- Understand the clients’ business and their risk management needs and look for solutions to deliver those needs through the provision of ongoing service.
- Draw on expertise within specialist technical teams within the team and across the Group for clients as required.
- Understand the cultural working practices of our clients and trading partners in the region and build strong relationships with clients.
- Work alongside (and provide direction as appropriate) the Facultative operational team in Mumbai.
- Provide renewal documentation with guidance from brokers and support from Mumbai operational team.
- Respond quickly and accurately to new business requests.
- Check policies/contracts, market presentations and client documentation as appropriate.
- Deliver the end to end ongoing client service, adhering to standardised policies, procedures and service standards.
- Provide feedback on corrective action required to retain clients or enhance process performance, actively supporting the implementation of any actions that are put in place.

Account Executive Facultative Job at Willis Towers Watson - Dubai
- Preferably educated to a Degree level or equivalent.
- Proven track record of delivering high levels of client service within the reinsurance industry
- A strong technical understanding of reinsurance and the ability to apply this knowledge to a variety of classes of business
- Existing track record in the insurance / reinsurance industry that can be applied to a variety of reinsurance products and delegated underwriting authority structures
- Achieved or looking to study towards Diploma CII (DipCII) or ACII or equivalent
- Skilled at building effective relationships, at all levels, with clients, prospects, associates, insurers and external specialists.
- Excellent communication skills in English. Additional language skills e.g. Arabic and/or Hindi are a plus.
- Ability to represent the practice and Willis Towers Watson with integrity and credibility.
- Experience of working with and adhering to processes and systems to support client service delivery.
- The ability to demonstrate initiative, strategic thinking and a sales oriented mentality
