Robert Half Finance and Accounting are working with a Global manufacturing business based in Bristol seeking a Cash & Banking AssistantThis business is a market leader in its sector, this role has been created to provide cover in a newly created Shared services centre.
Duration: 3 months-6 months
Location: Bristol
Hourly Rate: £11ph-14ph

Role responsibilities:
- The role covers all customers of the UK Shared Service Centre, based in Bristol.
- Collaborating with the Customer Service Teams and the Cash Acquisition Team who are responsible for the credit control and collection activity to help in resolving account disputes and queries.
- Work flexibly with Customer Service, Cash Acquisition Team and UK SSC Teams across the organisation to ensure seamless processing.
- Monitor bank transactions, process incoming cash postings & complete summary files
- Manual self-bill matching and data entry
- Inter company cash collections and clearings
- Proforma Account Reconciliations
- Process shared remittance inboxes daily
- Follow up, monitor and resolve unallocated cash receipts working with the General Ledger team
- Coordination with Customer Services to resolve discrepancies, disputes and short payments with Customers
- Submission and reconciliation of invoices to invoicing portals
- Answer / investigate Customer queries proactively
- Month End support for AR related requirements, such as Receivables Reports, Journals, reconciliations
- Continuous review of procedures, alignment of processes and best practice recommendations
- Other ad hoc duties as required
