One of our client a leading manufacturing industry in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Logistic coordinator.See Also: Marketing Executive Job at Al Ghazi - Abu Dhabi
Main Responsibilities
- Opening new jobs for customers and assisting in customs clearance and processing Customs Bill.
- Able to handle shipping lines, airlines and other freight management companies.
- Maintain acknowledge register for invoices delivered to customers.
- Responsible for generating leads by business development for the services provided by the company.
- Arranging transportation and follow-up.
- Updating with job with cost / provisions accordingly.
- Generating invoices to customers after completion of job.
- Generate payment requests for suppliers / vendors invoices.
- Adherence to company policies and code of conduct.
Skills and qualifications required
- Should have knowledge of the UAE customs and procedures.
- Able to handle shipping lines/ airlines/ fright management companies.
- Prior sales or business development experience in a logistics or freight forwarding company, would be preferred.
- Must have good communication skills in English.
- Candidate must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a freight forwarding company based in the UAE – (Abu Dhabi),
