Duty Manager - DQ Airport Operations Job at Qatar Airways - Doha

As Duty Manager, you will supervise and oversee the DQ HIA Operations team. You will ensure compliance with local and international regulations, instructions and procedures issued by DQ Airport Operations Management.
Key accountabilities:
As Duty Manager, you will supervise and oversee the DQ HIA Operations team. You will ensure compliance with local and international regulations, instructions and procedures issued by DQ Airport Operations Management.
Key accountabilities:
- Responsible for all operations activities and ensure daily operation businesses are being performed according to company procedures and policies
- Work closely with the line manager to implement the QR leadership culture, vision and the operations strategy in HIA
- Ensure there is a strong focus on sales and provide training & coaching to subordinates
- Manage all shift DQ staff working at HIA operations and ensure efficient allocation and utilization of staff in order to deliver a first class operation
- Coordinate with HIA operations and local security on a daily basis to enhance professional relationships
- Produce monthly rosters regarding the Airport Operations team and assure compliance with QR policy
- Ensure the accurate data collection and reporting with regards the daily sales from the Airport Kiosks
- Act as a main point of operational contact for all aspects of DQ HIA operations team

Qualifications
- Relevant College or University qualification to minimum Bachelor’s level
- Minimum 5 years of job related experience
- Airport operations experience is an advantage
- Management skills
- Strong mentoring and coaching skills
- Ability to foster teamwork among team members
