Our client, a multinational company is urgently looking for a Logistics Manager.
Key Roles
- Responsible for the execution of order placement/entry and import/export documentation for shipments originating several countries to destinations in the territories, which include Letter of Credit shipments and any other special requirements on documents.
- Ensure that all documentation meets import/export regulations
- Arrange details of shipments with forwarders and carriers as needed forImports / exports, which include shipments processed via Courier.
- Transacting of daily shipments
- Enhancement of SCM operation and Logistics include all the documentation process.
- Enhance SCM operations by seeking the efficient way of execution.
- Accommodate any international and domestic transportation cases.
- Investigate customs regulations of each country and take proactive action working with Japan closely to
- prevent any delays or return of the shipments due to the documentation, product packaging and any other
- mismatching with such customs regulations.
- Improve total SCM and logistics process (traffic, documentation, cost, etc...).
- Establish a committed relationship among regional and headquarter staff.
- Accommodate any international transportation cases.
- Have deep knowledge of transportation and customs system and regulations in the territory.
- Control BME inventory in Dubai Warehouse in Jebel Ali Free Zone.
- Back up support in absence of Shipping Administrative & Logistics Specialist.
- Implementation of international Supply Chain Managements (hereunder SCM) and Logistics procedure.
- Design and coordinate to establish SCM and Logistics operation in the company.
- Figure out SCM and Logistics operation process and rules including irregular issues.
