Job Description
Our client, a world leader in the habitat and construction market that designs, manufactures and distributes high-performance building materials providing innovative solutions to the challenges of growth, energy efficiency and environmental protection, is looking to hire a Junior Sales Representative.

Location: Ethiopia, Addis Ababa
Job type: Full-Time

Job Purpose
Will be responsible for sales development of newly produced products and associated building materials in Ethiopia and in export countries. The successful candidate will report to the Business Development Manager.

Key Accountabilities

• To analyses the market and ensure constant follow up/benchmarking
• Generating leads for existing products and driving new product introductions across the Group offering to meet customer requirements and achieve revenue targets
• To develop markets for new and existing products to attain revenue targets
• Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
• Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients
• Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services
• Create, protect and develop market share.
• Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices and availability
• To analyse current business and Route-To-Market to highlight gaps and recommend avenues for improvement to maintain/ grow current business - customers, product categories

Required Qualifications

• BA in Marketing Management, Business management and BSC in Architecture
• Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
• A commitment to excellent customer service

Specific work experience, knowledge and skills required

• Applicants who has a sales or marketing experience preferably in the Building/construction industry work experience has advantageous
• Knowledge of construction industry especially the built environment is a plus
• Thorough understanding of the Ethiopian market
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment including ability to influence and establish effective networks.
• Must be able to communicate in English and Amharic
• Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
• Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Able to work comfortably in a fast paced environment
