Position summary:
To Coordinate, the activities of ordering, receiving, storing, accounting for, distributing, shipping, and issuing equipment, materials, and supplies in order to ensure smooth operations of the business.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Warehouse Safety
- Wear the proper safety equipment and adhere to all HSE policies and procedures including contamination control; report potentially unsafe conditions, use equipment and materials properly and attend safety meetings as required in order to create a safe environment for warehouse staff.
- Warehouse Organizing
- Organize the supplies and equipment warehouse taking into consideration the safety standards in order to provide maximum efficiency within the warehouse area and also to create a safe environment for warehouse staff.
- Stock Counting
- Perform stock counts (physical check) regularly and report on regular basis obsolete items to inventory controller in order to maintain the value of the current assets.
- Warehouse Appearance
- Develop and maintain general appearance of warehouse by making sure that the warehouse meets the highest standards of cleanliness in order to increase warehouse efficiency and reducing errors.
- Consignments Checkup
- Check Consignments against invoices for quantity and items numbers, report immediately any discrepancies in terms of quantity (short/excess), or damaged items in order to ensure proper stock management.
- Warehouse Reports
- Maintain daily and weekly reporting package (invoice delivery reports, advise note report ...etc.) and maintain proper and comprehensive documentation of all warehouse activities in order to optimize business and profitability.
Qualification:
High School Certificate.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years work experience in Warehousing & Logistics
