Accountant
Job Purpose
Support colleagues in the provision of a high-quality accounting service, including the preparation of data, and acting as the primary day to day contact for the provision of those services, to meet stakeholders’ expectations
Key Responsibilities
- Handle full set of books, annual financial statements and other tailor made management reports
- Responsible for system maintenance and update e.g. client addition/deletion, project creation etc.
- Bookkeeping (Preparing monthly journals, ensuring all items posted to the ledgers are accurate & complete, ensure the completion of GL reconciliations and ultimately ensure that the trial balance is complete and accurate in all material aspects);
- Responsible for the review / preparation of all primary accounting documents according to local compliance regulations;
- Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information;
- Responsible for the accurate preparation of balance sheet and income statements and various other accounting statements and reports required by the Group;
- Reviews and checks the accuracy of journal vouchers, payroll records, sales and purchase ledgers etc;
- Prepares on a monthly basis supporting analyses of all balance sheet accounts, by indicated deadlines;
- Identifies particular risks related to the transactions. Such risks refer to, but are not limited to: primary accounting documents, tax aspects;

- Degree holder in Accountancy;CPA preferred
- Qualified Accountant in recognized professional body is an advantage;
- At least 2 years relevant experience gained from a local firm or multinational company; plus tax experience gained in major international professional firms is an advantage;
- Sound knowledge of international a counting practices (IFRS);
- Self-motivated, well-organized, hardworking, a strong sense of responsibility with positive working attitude;
- Excellent Skills in use of Microsoft Excel;
- Knowledge Dynamics AX 2012 is a differential;
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Be organized, logical and thorough in the execution of the function
- Deadline oriented person with the ability to work under pressure.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strives to meet service delivery standards.
