Purpose of the position
The Junior Accountant will process bank and expense payments and payment entries into the ERP and maintain financial records.
Responsibilities & duties
- Timely processing of all bank payments after reconciliation with the supplier statements.
- Processing payment entries in the ERP system
- Timely expense payment to employees by verifying expense reports and recording expenses directly in the system.
- Bank reconciliation
- Daily updating bank balance
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance preferred
- Prior experience in accounts payable preferred
- Good level of competence in Excel, Word, Outlook, and accounting software
- Good keyboard skills
- Good communication and listening skills
- Good organizational skills used in planning own work
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines
- Able to work effectively with minimal supervision and management guidance
- Good analytical and problem-solving ability
