Our client is seeking an Executive Assistant / Projects Coordinator for 2-months temporary contract who serves as the primary point of contact for all internal and external matters pertaining to the Office of the CEO and senior leadership team.

Job Description:
Will manage and organize executive outreach and external relations efforts; oversees special projects. She must be creative and enjoy working within an environment that is mission-driven, results-driven and community oriented.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently on projects, anticipate needs, think critically, and offer solutions to problems with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The role will report to the CEO and Finance & Operations Manager.

Key duties & responsibilities:
Special Projects Support for the CEO
  • Conduct all research for the CEO on demand for special projects
  • Synthesize information on programs, options, stakeholders, and beneficiaries for CEO
  • Create executive summaries for CEO on all special project requests
  • Create business plan for special projects on request of the CEO
  • Outreach to partners on behalf of CEO for special projects to elicit support
  • Connecting to VIPs within UAE and in region in Arabic and English on behalf of CEO to cultivate support for special projects
  • Monitor and report on current events with stakeholders and partners as related to special project for
  • the CEO assuring CEO is kept updated
  • Operationalize special projects with all relevant staff in Foundation for CEO
Executive Support to the CEO
  • Work closely with the CEO to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately and keeping the CEO updated.
  • Communicates directly, and on behalf of the CEO, with Board members, Foundation staff, and others, on matters related to the Office of the CEO.
  • Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CEO, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature.
  • Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence.
  • Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in social studies, education, business administration or a related field
  • 2-6 years significant executive support experience, including supporting C-level executives, Nonprofit board experience or in relevant role is highly-preferred; out of which 5 years in the UAE.
  • Expert with Microsoft Office; high standard of computer competency and literacy
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English & Arabic).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail.
