Job Description

Our client, a company engaged in the import export sector, is looking for young and energetic individuals with the dedication and commitment, fitting the company's aspirations, ready to work on the direct and tender sales activities within their Water Solutions, Power Supply and Laboratory Equipment departments.

Your key responsibilities will be:
• Establishing new relationships with potential clients, following up until securing orders and maintaining existing relationships.
• Achieve sales goals.
• Understand customer requirements, interpret and provide sales support.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations on the company’s products to existing and prospective customers.
• Work in product development through researching, developing and modifying products to meet customers' technical requirements and needs.
• Soliciting and logging client feedback and evaluating the data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers.
• Work on tenders parallelly within the given time frame and meet deadlines, thereby guaranteeing our company's participation on all desired tenders along with boosting the company's winning opportunities.
• Coordinate with Department Managers to ensure smooth flow of information and timely deliveries of requirements.

Qualifications
• BSc/BA Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electromechanical / Civil / Water Engineering, Marketing, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Management, Procurement and any relevant fields.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar sales position, tender, import, sales officer/engineer is mandatory.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
• Able to relate technical information to non-technical customers.
• Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in reading, writing, listening and speaking Amharic and English.
• Self-going, accountable, and reliable.
• Committed and persistent.
• Good leadership and team working skills.
• Willingness to travel outside of Addis Ababa, whenever necessary.
