Team Overview:
We are building an Automation Centre of Excellence for our OTT engineering teams. No matter the device, the time or the place, we make sure that engaging large, diverse audiences with premium entertainment is possible. Our vision is to deliver the world's best entertainment.

What you'll do:
• Develop in-depth knowledge of backend APIs and apps
• Develop a general E2E knowledge of the systems across all propositions and all territories
• Participate in incident resolution and root cause investigation calls representing the group
• Actively manage group risks and reliability tasks
• Help to build and maintain a centralised dashboard for key metrics for platform health
• Review platform health regularly and investigate any anomalies using tools like Conviva/New Relic/Kibana/Grafana/Prometheus
• Stay open to changes as the role and the team evolve
• Potentially lead a team of reliability engineers

What you'll bring:
• Strong understanding of OTT technologies with a focus on streaming metrics, protocols and terminologies
• Industry experience and a successful track record in assisting with the resolution of issues across complex microservices
• Good knowledge of Kibana, Grafana and Splunk
• A basic understanding of AWS, GCP, Kubernetes and networks across on-premise and Cloud environments
• Strong communications and an ability to articulate clearly
• The ability to demonstrate a focused, determined and proactive attitude
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and a proactive mindset with an ability to analyse logs

The Office:
Our Osterley campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Chiswick Park, Gunnersbury, Acton Town and Ealing Broadway tube stations. There's also plenty of parking, bike shelters and showers.

On campus you'll find six subsidised restaurants and a Waitrose. You can keep in shape at our subsidised gym, catch the latest shows and movies at our cinema, get your car washed and even get pampered at our beauty salon.
