Summary
The SCM Order Operations Specialist ensures that all customer demands are met and that orders are placed in a timely manner, and works closely with other departments to make sure that deliveries and invoicing is done to meet the OTIF (On Time in Full Performance).
Your Responsibilities
- Customer Order Fulfillment in collaboration with the different shipping points
- Invoicing
- System process tests
- Customer Master Data administration
- Order Receipt and validation (i.e. pricing)
- Order input into SAP
- Issue order confirmations, delivery advice and invoices
- Assist in obtaining required delivery documents
- Coordinate delivery with the 3PL and the customer
- System process tests
- Administer the customer Master Data as basis for the Order Fulfillment (for drop-shipments in coordination with Germany and Switzerland)
- Receive and check incoming orders for completeness, correct prices and delivery requirements. Coordinate with customer and/or sales department
- Process the customer order in SAP
- Based on the customers’ requirements issue order confirmations and delivery advice. Issue invoices based on delivery and destination country needs
- Obtain the required destination clearance documents in coordination with the 3PL and/or Germany and Switzerland as well as the needed external partners (i.e. chamber of commerce)
- Coordinate the delivery in regards to the goods movement, the clearing documents, etc. Partner with internal departments to drive optimal delivery times and accuracy
- Drive and coordinate new requirements, developments and opportunity for simplification for SAP SD with the IT department; plan and implement process tests in SAP to enable smooth go-live of new developments including end-to-end training on SAP functionality and use. Support the Global Change Management Team with executing local rollouts of improved SAP solutions
- Lead Supply Chain projects to optimize current supply chain processes (internal but also with external stakeholders like suppliers and customers)

Who You Are
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or related
- You have at least 1 - 3 years of relevant work experience in the Pharmaceutical or Diagnostics industry
- You have built the experience in order handling, and temperature controlled Supply Chain
- You have built the experience in working with SAP (SD module)
- You have working knowledge of Letters of Credit
- You are strong in coordinating with internal and external partners (Sales department, Germany, Roche Switzerland, and 3PL)
- You have strong communications skills
- You are an open and service minded professional, and a strong team player
- You are fluent in English. Speaking Arabic will be preferred
- You have good knowledge of Excel
