Job Purpose:
This critical work role position performs: Operational support, implementation, and design of WLAN critical to facility operations and productivity.Description:
This position is primarily responsible for:- Network WLAN technical problem identification and resolution including WLAN implementation, and off-shift and weekend WLAN and site support functions.
- Testing and user acceptance of WLAN infrastructure components.
- Implementing WLAN processes, or WLAN process improvements.
- Maintain and administer WLAN and connectivity of network components.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve WLAN hardware, software, or other network and system problems.
- Replace defective WLAN components when necessary on/off-shift and during weekends.
- WLAN hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
- Adherence to Cat Technology controls and security protocols.
- Representing and communicating WLAN changes and incidents in DCAB and ECAB.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in the technical field
- Prior infrastructure work experience
- Prior WLAN experience
