Job Description
- Support the Warehouse Supervisor the daily warehouse operations, including stock takes and cycle counts, in order to keep an overall control of stocks
- Offload shipment, physically check and notify any discrepancies; if not store the items in an appropriate and orderly manner according to reference numbers, brand names etc.
- Carry out pre-retailing activities like pricing, tagging bar coding etc. as per brand guidelines and requirements
- Pick and pack stock based on the pick lists and handheld scanners for dispatching daily to customers and retail outlets
- Maintain HSE practices in the working environment, while minimizing any damage to property, or injuries to personnel
- Actively encourage and remind colleagues about HSE compliant behaviors and processes, as defined by the company
Desired Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:- Have practical work experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), logistics software (ERP) and RF scanners, across various aspects of warehousing operations
- Good warehouse organization skills
- Good numeracy skills
- Be a pleasant communicator and team-player, with a passion for performance
