Role Overview:

As a Business HR Group Manager for UAE you will be the lead for all HR related activity and manage end to end talent acquisition requirements. This includes managing daily operations, defining appropriate programs, planning, and budgeting, and serving as a strategic business partner to the General Manager and Senior Management team of the Region/Market Unit. You will also be responsible for managing complex daily operations, defining appropriate programs, planning and sourcing to meet current and future business needs. Your responsibilities will likely span multiple concurrent projects.

Additionally, you will be involved in program oversight that may include culture building, employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, professional development, compensation, budgeting, scheduling, HRIS, benefits, and general personnel administration. Overall, you have a key role in contributing to Accenture’s HR strategy and execution, and you will drive your local HR strategy.

Key Role Responsibilities:

Day-to-day you will work in a variety of HR areas:
Performance Management: -Prepare, coordinate, and implement annual Accenture performance appraisal process-Ensure all employees receive feedback and that all appraisals are completed and agreed on by leadership team. Continually review and enhance current appraisal system in conjunction with the HR Team-Administer performance management function for team, where applicable.

Employee Engagement: -Participate and direct regional/business unit onboarding and employee engagement processes-Continually assess morale within the organization and prepare strategies to better motivate and retain current employees -Lead, motivate, and be an ambassador for employees at Accenture.

Policies & Processes: -Provide key input to the development and "maintenance" of Accenture’s policies and processes. Contribute to the creation of global policies and programs through participation on special projects-Lead the regional/Market Unit HR team and provide career coaching and development for group-Adapt regional processes and organization to a changing/dynamic Regional/Market Unit organization-Handle employee grievances and conflict-Plan and prepare the region's HR budget in conjunction with Finance, if applicable-Manage and update HR Databases/Systems and enable maximum benefit to be derived from the system.

Career Development: -Develop and supervise training initiatives including rotation plans, knowledge transfer, functional skill development, team building, and etc.-Contribute to the ongoing development of compensation structures as necessary to deal with retention, motivation, and/or attraction challenges and ensures compliance with Accenture’s policy guidelines and governmental regulations in conjunction with the Global Compensation team -Act as "sounding board" for regional career development. Provide counselling to both employees and leadership on addressing career development needs-Guide development of management/leadership, communication, and general consulting skills to the region.

Recruiting, Hiring, & Onboarding: -Oversee recruitment operations for the UAE business -Provide thought leadership to design and development of talent acquisition programs, operations and drives continued improvement-Apply best practices of the industry to help build and support Accenture’s talent acquisition function. You will create recruiting plans in order to pipeline for passive talent, etc.)-Work with leaders and HR to understand the business needs across the Company and implement appropriate talent acquisition plans.-Collaborate with global, regional recruitment and HR leaders to understand business needs and implement key programs that drive group success-As the functional lead, build and establish a strategic partnership and alignment with the respective group leaders.-Partner with business leaders to define new and/or update all position job specifications to meet the business climate and demand.-Participate in HR regional and/or HR global leadership strategic initiatives as needed and be a project lead or a driver for Talent related initiatives.-Oversight and responsibility for recruiting data integrity and tracking for the region.-Provide monthly and quarterly recruitment metrics and scorecards to respective regional leadership as well as to HR global leadership.-Review/Validate and Delivers in Recruitment Strategy, Sourcing, Recruitment Process. Deliver in Coordination focus areas -Develop HR planning models to identify competency, knowledge and talent gaps and develop specific programs for the filing of gaps

Talent Management: -Areas of activity will include, talent management through proper succession planning programs for key contributor and management positions, training and development programs for preparing employees for more significant responsibilities, and general business development programs to enhance employee knowledge and understanding of the business of the company-Continually assess the competitiveness of all programs and practices against the relevant comparable companies, industries, and markets-Review/validate in HR Administration, Business Partner, Employee Relations, Creating and Implementing HR Programs, and Performance Management focus areas Changes in:

Workforce:-Prepare, coordinate, and support practice managers/ business managers on disciplinary actions, terminations, and reductions in force-Plan and implement changes for restructuring of business groups as required-Plan and implement restructures to ensure smooth transition of employees into the current environment

Qualifications:-

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in the following competencies: compensation, benefits, employee relations, staffing, recruiting, performance management, and professional development.
  • Experience developing and executing a variety of policies and programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and leadership ability
  • Ability to work in an environment that demands flexibility and offers ambiguity-Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Possesses the ability to be team oriented and collaborative, yet can provide individual contributor value.
  • Ability to interact and influence all levels of people and overall Accenture culture.
  • Expert knowledge of general recruiting principles, practices; demonstrated experience in developing strategic recruiting plans.
  • Displays capability for creative, non-routine sourcing and candidate experience strategies.
  • -Experience improving end-to-end recruiting processes and programs -Experience in an environment recruiting applicants with "hot" (tech) skills highly valued-Knowledge of Microsoft technologies and solutions-Developed skills in negotiation, persuasions research.
  • Experience acting as direct partner to senior leadership-Experience working in a matrixed, collaborative environment, particularly consulting-Certification in behavioral interviewing is a plus.

Preferred Education Background:

You are likely to possess a bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or Psychology; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
